For our Problem of the Month this month, students take a picture of an object or scene in the world around them.

Some ideas of where to take the picture:

during a walk outside

while playing in the house

at the grocery store

Any school-appropriate picture is fine!

After you have taken the picture, make a list of all of the math you see in the picture. This exercise is called "Where's the Math," and it helps students to see how much math is around them every day. Turn in your picture and the list of the math you see in the picture to the office.
